the things i love the most

I promised myself after stalking the maine to blog about the things I’ve done for band dudes, like when I saw them live, stalk them etc. So here,

LIV5 was a four-day concert (February 16-19, 2012) of A+ Droppouts, The Summer Set, The Ready Set, A Rocket to the Moon and Forever the Sickest Kids in Ayala Malls. I was able to go the three days!
February 16, 2012 (Thursday) – Alabang Town Center

I have 3 classes for this day but I only attended the first one. Yeah I love them so much. After my chem class I immediately run to the jeep station. I got at ATC past 12nn already I met up with Gervie, he was with his sister, Cheska and cousin. After eating, we stayed at the VIP Lounge waiting for the soundcheck. Around 3 or something we went to check if the bands are already soundchecking and we were just in time The Summer Set was sound checking OMYGOD OKAY I SAW STEPHEN FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME he was so perfect and pretty and if I could just hug him! But the weather is not cooperationg with the fangirls and boys, it started to rain. We stayed there just to watch them but the weather’s being a bitch okay it rain harder so we had to go inside. When the rain stopped we went outside again to check, they are already done. But Jess was waving at us, she’s so pretty and hot and friendly and all! I’m so lesbo for JessBo. We went to the audience’s entrance to line up. Though I have VIP tickets, I have to sell them to have funds. Dominic arrived almost 5pm, fetched him at the concierge. We went inside and we even saw Rissa. A+ was the first to play. TSS was next. The girls who bought my tickets are late so I was freaking worried. I didn’t have the chance to watch TSS well. Then TRS. Jordan was freaking hot okay. Dominic went home that time so I went with Gervie and co. ARTTM played next. They are so perfect!! I love Justin so much. Last was FTSK, my boys are so cool and witty and friendly and all. Jonathan even told us to move up to the front loool obviously the security will not allow that aww sadballs. The show ended around 10. I got home past 11 already. It was one of the best night of my life!!

February 17, 2012 (Friday) – Glorietta 4

I woke up very early. I got to Glo around 8 and there was already a line outside. Aly got there past 8. Though the mall will open at 10. When it was 10 minutes before 10, the people were complaining outside because people were trying to get in first and the guard said she don’t have anything to the with the line wtf man. Anyway I was able to get 4 white tickets. After getting it, we went to the venue, and this man talked to us he was a tech or something I think. Then we went outside to go to intercon. We saw Nick omg he walked in front of us…

After that nothing happened :( lol we met up again with Gervie and Cheska. We stayed near the activity center. Sound checking started, ARTTM FTSK and TRS sound checked. While we were waiting for the show to start. I met Jia and her friend. I didn’t remember her friend’s name though (but now I already know). Dominic arrived then. We waited near the white ticket entrance. We were allowed to get inside 30mins before 5 or so. Show started at 5. Same line up again. But I enjoyed this time more, maybe because I wasn’t thinking of anything (hello ticket buyers lol) anyway, our spot was so wrong for TSS because Stephen’s side is at the right, we were on the left awwww but in ARTTM’s set! I was on Justin’s side peopleeeee

Highlight moment of my life: I was holding a sign, “Justin, will you marry me?” he threw a pick and I was the one who got in. That really means yes okayyyy!!

FTSK was even more perfect this time. They were all. I love this show than it was in ATC, maybe because I was nearer lol. Best night, yes.

February 18, 2012 (Saturday) – TriNoMa

I told myself to go there as early as I can but I went there na after lunch lol we saw Oca on our way there. When we got there the line was already long but the silver was longer. And fuck who that guy I saw HAHAHA OMG cant believe I saw him their okay. Anyways we were allowed to get inside past 4. A+ was the only band I heard soundchecked. Before it started John and Thaddea finally arrived. (HELLO ANGELA MY TALKSHIT FRIEND LOL JK I LOVE YOU ANGGE ) We were so far though. I don’t want that spot. Dominic and I saw Sam and Tonette lol I shouted at Sam but she didn’t hear me so yea. I was on the most right side so I can see Stephen, fag he was so perf okayy. Jordan went down the stage, he’s so cuuute! FTSK was way cooler this time, they allowed some fans to get up on the stage. So jealousssssss! Still best night man.

It’s a story of a summer love. There this young couple who met up at a summer time, liked and loved each other, each other’s company. A girl with all the beautiful characteristics, pretty, smart, sexy, hot. In that, envying his girlfriend.  That they knew that wasn’t good for them, they were doing stuffs, imagine the worsts ones, making out, playing on the hallways naked, threesomes, all kinds of sex, and the likes. But they love what they are doing and they still continue their relationship. They didn’t learned from what they did, or even care that they have done mistakes in that summer. They love what they did and that was all.

But in a context of generalization (minus the worst things they’ve been doing), we can tell that, this young couple’s relationship wasn’t approved by their parents, that was the mistake they were doing, continuing their relationship. They don’t want to leave each other, because they thought that they are meant to be, like he was what he needs, and also for the guy, she was what she needs.

When summer was nearing to end, they had fights, they didn’t understand each other, pride, envy, disrtust took them. And their relationship ended as the summer ended as well without making them realize what wrong doings they’ve done.

WHAT IS EPICNESS

I’ve talked about Mayday parade’s concert in some of my recent posts. So, yeah, we (Aly and I) went to the concert last Thursday, that was July 07, 2011. I cut 2 of my subjects just to get there early (for the first 200 that will get freebies hihi). After my Psy class, I run to the jeep station. I got to Sta. Rosa around 1pm. I met up with Aly there. We arrived at Meralco Theater around 2:30pm. We were waiting outside. They don’t allow us to get inside. It was early, the guards said. While waiting outside, we gain friends. And coincidentally they were from Los Baños! But they are already graduates of UPLB. The guards let us in around 4pm? Even I’m asking Aly many times what time is it, I can’t remember! The pretty girl ( I don’t know her name tho) was numbering the tickets for the people who were part of the 200. I was 117th. They allowed us to enter the lobby around 5:40pm.  They gave us the freebies! A shirt, stickers, CD, baller, pin. At the lobby, there are stalls selling merchs, ballers, photobooth (which is freeee!), water. Aly and I went to take pictures at the photobooth. Too bad I can’t post it here, I forgot to get copy, it’s at Aly’s :( After that, we got inside the theater. We were so closed! We were at F224 and F225. SO CLOSE. But then I still envy the VIPs they are nearer. Hahaha. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 …….

December Avenue was their front act. They were awesome too!

They sang about 6 songs? I lost track, sorry! They sang their final song. After announcing the winners for back-stage pass, the winner of the shoes. It’s Mayday Parade!! Tho there are like 15 minutes before they went out because of technical difficulties (assuming, they were tuning the guitar, i don’t know the right term for that). Tenenenenen! MAYDAY PARADE!!!!!!!!!

They sang Jamie All Over, Kids in Love, I’d Hate to be You When People Find Out What This Song is About, Anywhere But Here, Black Cat, When I Get Home, You’re so Dead, Terrible Things, You Be the Anchor That Keeps My Feet on the Ground, I’ll Be the Wings That Keep Your Heart in the Clouds, Three Cheers for Five Years and their final song Get Up.

Buuuuut, WE WANT MORE. We beg like for 10minutes. I lose hope tho. But then Derek enters the stage again!!!!! And then they follow. Their final final song was Jersey.

During the concert, I really can’t explain my emotions. I wanted to cry. I shouted my hearts out. I sing along with them. I’m really proud of them. I can already that time LOL but really my I can’t explain my happiness, greatness, grateful to be there. ALEX IS FREAKING HOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!! THEY WERE REALLY BEYOND AWESOME!!!

One more thing, Mayday Parade’s awesome because if you notice some bands/soloists when they performed on their concert, their voices somewhat changed. Mayday is exactly the same. Really really the same. I was stoked at their first song. Beyond awesome, really, they are.

Shifting from one to another

Well now, I have another idea for this blog. I’m thinking of making this as my song review blog! One song per week or prolly if I have more time, more than that. I’ll choose one song from my different favorite bands/soloist every week. Or if someone’s existing there that is reading my blog, you may suggest a song :) I will put the lyrics here, artist, album, music video of they have, my point of view to that song, rate 1-5 (1 to be the highest), and whatever I want to put or what you want me to put there.
